FIRST FRIDAY MASS - SEPT. 4TH

"First Friday Mass" will be celebrated in the Chapel this Friday.

Mass will begin at 7:10am and will end by 7:40am.

All are Welcome - Please join us.


SET CREW

Set Crew for RUMORS begins this Friday 3:30-5pm & Saturday 10:00-4pm. All are welcome and please dress for set building & painting. Bring money for pizza on Saturday:-)


ATTENDANCE REMINDER

Attention all students!! Unless you have late arrival or early dismissal showing up on your schedule, it is MANDATORY to check in and check out with attendance in student services. You may not leave campus without a pass.


STAR MEETING

STAR will meet on Wednesday, September 9, in the EHS Library from 6-8 p.m. Any EHS girl interested in joining STAR should attend this meeting! If you have questions please contact Mrs. Wiederholt Meier


PICTURE - RETAKE DAY

Attention all Faculty, Staff and Students.

Empire Photography will be in the back of the Commons on Tuesday, September 8 for Picture Retake Day. If you need your picture taken for ID's etc. or if you need a retake (Please bring your old pictures) report to the Commons between 7:30am and 1:00pm for your photo.


PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY - UW-CONSESSIONS

Attention EHS students who are looking for part-time work! The UW-Madison-WI is in need of high school student to work concessions at the UW-Football games. This is a great job and pays very well. It is perfect for students with busy schedules. The commitment would be for all seven Badger home games for approximately 4.5 hours each game. If you are interested, please see Ms. McDonugh.


Organizational Meeting for The Wayfarer Staff & Writing Workshop

Students who are interested in writing, in designing, and in creating a literary magazine are welcome to join The Wayfarer staff. The Wayfarer is Edgewood's award winning literary and art magazine. An organizational meeting will held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 3:30 pm in Room 304. Following The Wayfarer organizational meeting, a writing workshop will be held. All students are encouraged to bring their writing for peer review: poetry, prose, college essays, class essays, dramatic scripts, and more! The Wayfarer Staff will conduct several writing workshops throughout the first semester. Please check announcements for dates and times.


SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

5th Annual Madison Walk for Wishes(R) Sunday, September 20, 2015 at McKee Farms Park 2930 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711 Registration & Kid's Activities open at 8:30am

Become a Walk for Wishes Volunteer!! Volunteer positions are available in several areas including: registration, food/beverage, kid's activities, water stations, awards distribution, pledge collection, set-up/tear down, event information, parking attendants, and race route assistants. Various shifts are available between the hours of 6am and 1pm. All those interested in volunteering should contact Christy by September 10th via e-mail at cehlert@wisconsin.wish.org or by calling 608-252-4323. Please be sure to indicate when you are available and if there is a particular area you wish to work in.

Attic Angel Place (west side of Madison) is looking for compassionate Edgewood students to spend some time with senior residents. Programs are planned and your youthful energy does so much to brighten the lives of our neighbors.
